Re: Peter Florance MegaSquirt Troubleshooting

Just thought I'd vouch for Peter. We just tuned my Ford 2.3 Turbo and it's unbelievable what a thorough understanding of this system he posseses.

Well worth the money spent. My car has never run better nor has it ever been faster!!

Thanks Peter!

Re: Ford Idle Air Control

Could you please clarify specifically on the wiring of a 2-wire Ford PWM Idle Control Valve?

The way I understand this now, one lead goes from the FIDLE pin on the relay board, and the other lead must then have to go to +12V, right? And then a 1N4001 Diode is installed between those leads, with ...

Re: Watched Bruce's Noise Video, now concerned about two things

I'm guessing by the lack of response that this must have been addressed elsewhere, however I did search quite a bit prior to posting and couldn't find what I was hoping to find. If it has been addressed specifically, please forgive me and kindly share a link.

Thanks,
Peter

Watched Bruce's Noise Video, now concerned about two things

I watched Bruce's video on noise and it has me concerned about a couple of things. (THANKS Bruce :-P)

1. I'm preparing to install my recently assembled MS into my Ford 2.3 using my 55lb Low-Z injectors and EDIS-4. I used a bigger transistor (TIP120) on the PWM flyback, and I also followed step 69 ...

EDIS Timing Question

Morning MS World!:

I recently installed Esslinger Underdrive pullies on my Ford 2.3 Turbo. While I had it all apart, I also installed PyroPete's 36-1 wheel for my future EDIS conversion.

With the EDIS wheel my original timing belt cover no longer fits. (The original timing cover had timing marks ...
