I haven't seen anyone else get back to you. Here's one of mine from last year:

The VE is not a function of your Required Fuel, but what values you put in the buckets will be effected by your Req Fuel. You could change the Required Fuel value to a larger number and tune your VE table to lower numbers and it would all come out about the same. That's my understanding of it all. V...

It isn't the VE of over 100% that can cause a problem. That just indicates that (providing the required fuel amount is correct) the motor is more than unitary in air pump efficiency. 4AGE 20v's do that, among other high strung motors. Now, if your injector duty cycle starts to approach 100%, then yo...

I bought a Buell TB, manifold, injectors and fuel pump to do my wife's Sportster. From my net surfing, I think the injectors use Ford connectors. Anyone have any ideas on what the throttle position sensor uses?

Source for sensor plugs?

I came up with a Buell throttle body, manifold, injectors and fuel pump, but no harness side of the connectors. Where can I get these? Is there a supplier with a picture catalog? I'm sure Harley doesn't make connectors, so it is just a matter of finding them. Thanks.

OK, I think I got the Easytherm working. It changed the .s19, burned it, I reloaded your "good tune" and fiddled with a few things like the rev limit (I have it at 6K until I get a knock sensor working. Blew a motor once to that and I'm gun shy.) I turned off the windows animated menus on ...

I tried drawing the schematic in ASCII, but these boards don't let you put multiple spaces in or I can't figure out how to do it anyway. With the Zener in there, +5V is on the IGT pin and is grounded when I switch JP1 to ground, where the VB921 will go. +12v (no Zener) didn't work too well for whate...

Here are the results of my experiments so far:

+12V - 330 ohm resistor - Junction Point 1 - 5.1v 1W Zener - ground
Junction Point 1 to Pin 2 of coil/igniter
+12v to pin 1 of coil/igniter
ground to pin 4 of coil/igniter

When I ground Junction Point 1, the coil fires.

Thanks, guys. muythaibxr found me a schematic of the Camry ignition: http://www.speakeasy.org/~culverk/camrycoils.jpg and IGF != IGT. As toydoctor72 says, IGF is the "Fired" signal, or actually, the "I charged a coil" signal back to the Toyota ECU. If the ECU doesn't get a pulsed...

Toyota Wasted Spark

OK, well, for coils I bought 2 from a 97 Camry, as the plug wire end fit my spark plug wires, saving me a lot of money versus having custom wires made from Magnecor. Now, my issue is that I thought I was buying two wasted spark coils. However, it looks like I bought 2 wasted spark coil/igniter units...

G'Day, Richard. Yeah, I am pretty familiar with Toyotas. Especially 20v's. The OEM setup calls it a signal supply or something and it goes directly to the ECU. One of the heater lines is grounded to the sensor ground. I'll ground this extra wire too.

Thanks.

4 wire oxygen sensor

What do I do with the extra wire on a 4 wire oxygen sensor? 2 go to the heater, one for the signal, do I just ground the extra wire? V3.0 MS with MS SnS. Thanks.
