Re: New intake only one bank fires up

Sorry yes the injectors click when I hold stethoscope to them. But I flipped the driver wires and still only the drivers side fired up.

I swapped the computers today, same results, drivers side fires up but the passenger side is not as dead. The O2 sensor will blip a bit at idle and if i'm driving ...

New intake only one bank fires up

A few weeks back I finally finished the real intake I planned on using for my fuel injection project. So I took the ugly 7.4L vortec truck manifold off and on went my Mercruiser manifold that I made individual throttle bodies for each stack. I had previously had this intake on the car back in 2009 ...

Re: Injectors stop firing after cranking rpms exceeded

Thank you very much, the new firm ware did the trick. I wish I would have thought to do that in the first place.

Injectors stop firing after cranking rpms exceeded

A few months back my MSII v3 took a dump. I drove the car the day before. Then the very next day I was getting ready to leave for work and it wouldn't pop off and when it did it ran terrible. At first I thought it was the new tune so I swapped back. Nothing changed. Still wouldn't start and run well ...

MAF Units ?

Ok so what gives. The MAF page in the Manual shows the units for the curve in mg/sec, MT and TS readout g/sec on the dashboard, the inc file appears to want g/sec, and the excel spreadsheet for the Nissan MAF appears to be in some unknown units as the numbers almost match what's given for mg/sec on ...

Re: Help with Alpha-N

I think I cleared up the question above this post but I have come up with a new one...

When viewing the Data Logs in relation to the MAP readings that show up...are those the calculated MAP readings from the Alpha-n table or are they the true MAP readings from the MAP sensor?

Re: Help with Alpha-N

Ok, so let me make sure I understand.

If I set RPM 1 (labled as Pure Alpha-n to blend...) to say 6000 rpm, and I set RPM 2 (Blend to SD Threshold) to say 7000

The alpha-n area is 0-6000, the blend area is 6000-7000, and the SD area is above 7000 rpm.

And if I never want to see any SD I would set ...

Help with Alpha-N

Ok I think I missed something somewhere. I filled out the alpha-n table and turned it on. But when I started the car it appeared to track like it was still using the MAP sensor.

So if I program the 0% TPS/1000 rpm cell for 30 kPa...I would expect the car when ideling at 1000 rpm and the tps at 0 ...
