Re: GSXR600 TB Choke Replacment

I should clarify, that what I meant by a choke, is really a idle stop. So when you pull the choke plunger, it opens the butterflyies a little bit to allow more air in for cold starting.

What I would like to do is replace the choke plunger so that its all controlled by the MS.

GSXR600 TB Choke Replacment

I have used a set of 01 GSXR600 Throttle Bodies to convert my 98 CBR900RR to EFI.

The GSXR bodies use a manual choke, that I was thinking of replacing it with some sort of pull solenoid... I was just wondering what other people have tried/used?

Thank you kindly,

Re: JB Weld the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Thanks everyone, there is some very good feed back there. I will be looking at fabricating a new rail. Taking the regulator off of its base that has been JB welded on the old rail, and mounting the regulator right on the fuel rail using the bolts that currently attach the regulator to its base.

JB Weld the Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I am just fabricating my fuel rail, and have the fuel pressure regulator from a CBR929 fuel rail.

I have cut the regulator and mount off of the old fuel rail, and was planning on using JB Weld to attach it to the new rail.
Has anyone tried this, and would it hold?

98 Honda CBR900RR ICM connector

I am looking to make an interface between the Microsquirt and my existing motorcycle wiring harness, but am having troubles finding where I can buy the proper connector or even what to ask for.
I was going to plug into where the existing ICM (Ignition Control Module) is, which has 16 pin male ...
