I went to the dealer today and they had the connectore....for $39 EACH. I told her I couldnt afford plastic at that price. The rubber grommet, they didnt even show in the pictorial. The showed the gap it filled, but not the filler.

But in their defense they had both of the fuel line connections I ...

IN and OUT fuel fittings GM TBI

I have a GM TBI fron a 1990 5.7L GM pickup. Nothing in the local bins seems to fit the fuel line threads on the pressure regulator.

The fuel line fittings are missing and I dont want to buy the entire fuel line from GM.

I have a two page listing of fittings (cant remember where I downloaded it ...

But in a TBI, there is no venturi. Its not needed to create the vacuum to pull the fuel from the float bowl. Its just a straight hole!

I hadnt thought of that. But you are absolutely right. What might work better is a capacitance in parallel with each injector to tune the frequency to prevent flyback altogether.

Just starting???

I have read the manual pretty throughly but I may have missed the following answers that I think I need.

I am using the MS 1 version 2.2 with a GM TBI with 2@ 55 lb/hr injectors on a 229 cui GMC V-6 engine so have a low fuel flow requiremnet on only 115 HP. Thus, low PW requirement

1) The ...

Identifying my TBI

I have ordered a MS 1 ver 2.2 and am expecting it any day now.

I acquired a TBI unit that I think can be adapted to the GM 229 V6 in my '83 El Camino. The EC currently has a Quadra Jet on it with a 4 barrel intake manifold.

The TBI I have is two barrel and has 43mm barrels. I do not know what it ...
