Re: no spark after reinstall

I'm gonna fire this thing off to Peter and let him check it all out. I'm out of town for a week or so and won't be able to do anything with it. I'll let you know the results.

Re: no spark after reinstall

Oops. Peter Florance repaired this one other time for me and I believe he used something more beefy that the transistor listed in the manual. Not exactly sure though.

no spark after reinstall

I have ver 2.2, with msII and msd ignition. The car was running fine and I removed the megasquirt to configure it for bluetooth. When I reinstalled the squirt, the ignition was on for some reason. Now I have no ignition at all, no spark to the coil. Could I have fried something plugging in the ...

Changing injectors

I am currently running low impedance injectors on my MS-II, ver 2.2 with flyback board. I want to try high impedance injectors. Is it just a matter of changing settings in megatune or are there hardware change I need to make? Thanks

cutting datalog

Is there a way to trim down a long datalog? I want to post one but it is too big. Gary

Re: no spark from MSD and no RPM

Answered my own question. Under advanced ignition settings, "somehow?" the trigger wheel tooth setting had 36 and since I'm not using one, I reentered 0 and it started right up. Sorry, for bothering, guess it helped to think out loud.

Re: no spark from MSD and no RPM

After talking with Peter Florance, I also confirmed the white wire from the MSD is connected to pin 11 (relay box) pin 36 on the MS and the wire going to the dizzy is connected to pin 15 (relay board) or pin 24 on the MS. While cranking, megatune shows "not cranking" on the main page.

no spark from MSD and no RPM

I pulled my MS (MSII ver 2.2 w/ relay board) from a running car, upgraded to the 2.886 code, added a flyback board and reinstalled. Now I get no rpm in megatune and no spark from the msd (which tested good). I'm running a stock Nissan optical distributor and have changed nothing from the original ...

Bosch aux air regulator

My Nissan VG30E engine has the Bosch air regulator on it and I plan on using this vs the Fidle or PWM controls. The megamanual mentions this in it and it would require less wiring and tuning on my part. I'm using MSII, with the V2.2 board. I also read that I need to remove the fidle relay on my ...
