Re: MS for dirt bike carburetted 2 stroke?

Hi!, you can see the VR circuit in the MS-II schematics page : http://www.megamanual.com/ms2/pcb.htm . I don´t know that motorbike, in my case, it has a sealed ignition module and I´m not sure if you can drive it with MS, perhaps with an extra circuit..

Re: VR Sensors - 2 questions

Hi! they are simply coils with a magnetic element inside, when a ferromagnetic element pases near changes its magnetic field producing a voltage signal.. They are strong, but if you have that spikes and worked fine before, maybe thats it. They are common, but come with different resistances. If you ...

Re: MS for dirt bike carburetted 2 stroke?

Hello!, I´m using an MS-I for the ignition on a 97cc Honda 4 stroke bike and works fine, the only thing I had to do was to build the VR input circuit (MS-II has it) in orther to get the signal from the VR sensor and also build a circuit for replacing the original CDI ignition. Good luck!

Is this tooth wheel ok?

Hi! i´m above to run a MS-II PCB 3.0 in a 4 cylinder engine. My question is if I can use a 62 -2 tooth wheel at 10.000 RPM and if it works well, I´ll use a VR sensor for the signal, thanks!
