Spare ports to monitor 0-.5 volts for data logging

I'm interested in using MS 2 spare ports to monitor input from my twin ignition systems in the range of 0 to .5 volts. Each of the twin ignition systems provides a linear signal where .1 volt equals 10 degrees of advance, .3 volts = 30 degrees, etc. I'd like to route these signals to MS 2 spare ...

Re: setting xTau to zero

Thanks for the quick feedback. I like the way xTau works. I just don't want it on at idle. If I enter zero in x at 900 rpm it is adjusted to 5. If I enter zero in T at 900 rpm it is adjusted to 2. These low numbers (relative to other entries of 30% and 400 msec) seem to work OK, but they are not ...

setting xTau to zero

The manual indicates that xTau can be set to zero at one or more map/rpm boxes as a place holder to keep xTau running without making any correction. Can someone tell me how to do this? Megatune and TunerStudio both auto correct zero entries. Thanks

TPS signal goes away when car starts

I'm running MS 2, version 2.2. I can calibrate my Ford TPS with MegaTune and get zero to full scale readings until I start the engine. Than the signal goes to zero. Any ideas?

Re: PWM AIC Valve with V2.2

I added the T120 to the Q5 fast idle socket and pulled power of the board with the IN4001 that was already mounted to the board as suggested. Now I show no voltage on the MegaTune display. I have ~12 volts into the board at pin 28 of the 37 pin connector. I also get ~12 volts on the board at JP1 #6 ...

Re: PWM AIC Valve with V2.2

Matt, Thanks for the feedback and diagram. Can I use the Q5 circuit as a place to mount the transistor (T120) and feed the fast idle output on my relay board? If so, should I use the bottom of the MS case as the heat sink and go into the bottom of the Q5 circuit? Or should I mount the transistor on ...

PWM AIC Valve with V2.2

Is it possible to run a Porsche 3-wire PWM valve for idle control with a MS-2 v2.2 board? If yes, what does the circuit look like? Thanks
