Bosch Fuel Pump Part Numbers

I am having trouble with Bosch fuel pump part numbers. Every spec sheet that I find from Bosch lists a typical Bosch part number like "0 580 464 085", but nearly all the companies in the US that sell the pumps have a five digit number like "69458". The Bosch US website has very little info, it will ...

Re: Bosch Crimp Tool

Is it the a similar tool or exactly that one? Do you know if it is actually a tool specifically for this? Are you happy with the way it crimps?

Thanks

Bosch Crimp Tool

I am looking for a reasonably priced decent quality tool to crimp the Bosch/Amp connectors. Amp calls them Junior Timer or Junior Power Timer.

http://www.eagleday.com/ampconnectors.html

The above link shows the connectors and halfway down has a non-ratcheting crimp tool for $30. It's the only ...

GM DIS Sensor Wheel Questions

I have a non-GM four cylinder engine to which I am adding a GM DIS set up. On the Megamanual instructions its specifies that TDC on #1 corresponds to a certain notch(the one before the notch with the 10 deg sync notch). My understanding is that these GM systems are designed so that they don't accept ...

Re: GM wiring manual

Moderators - I am not sure that this needed to be moved here, it's not really GM specific. It does have some info about GM connectors, but it also has a lot of good generic info on making wiring harnesses.

GM wiring manual

I just found this GM wiring manual on the web, it seems to have to some pretty good info for wiring newbies like my self. GM made this for companies that buy GM vehicles and turn them into motorhomes, van conversions, etc. so they don't make GM look bad with shoddy wiring.

I just thought I would add for reference that while they are typically a radial seal (sealing on the bore OD), some are a face seal (seal on the bottom of the bore). Some late model Toyota injectors like the Scion tC have a square section o-ring on the manifold side that is at least primarily a face ...

I think that a BMW 740i (E32) unit will solve your problem. The BMW part number is 12621288158. According to RealOEM.com this is a M14x1.5 sensor, it is #10 on the list in the link below.
