Re: What are the advantages of going to a wide-band O2?

I'll look into that. How will it affect daily driving and idle smoothness? Sometimes while idling, the RPMs pulsate a bit. Up, down, up, down....

What are the advantages of going to a wide-band O2?

My MS2 runs really well on it's narrow band sensor, but I'm always looking for better and smoother control. I'm thoroughly confused on if the wide band is worth it, and how to hook it up. I've read thru the forums here, appears I'd need some controller for it.
Any ideas on this? THANKS!

Great, thanks! As much as I liked XP, it's good to know that Win7 will work.

Windows xp laptop use with new TunerStudioMS 1.0....

Hey there! Been successfully driving our MSII '50 Suburban for over a year now, and feel I should have a better tune with the new TSMS1.0 I have a couple of concerns though, can I import my data files to this from MegaTune?
Also, I plan to get a newer laptop and probably get stuck with either ...

Re: New settings / adjustments not always saving...

Ahhhhhh, OK. So if I don't open the file, the newest current one should remain in place? Is there a easy way to double-check that it was saved correctly?

New settings / adjustments not always saving...

Hey all,
Been messing with my 250 six, got my injectors relocated to eliminate charge-robbing (see prior posts) and it runs GREAT! When I tune it in a little better, my settings aren't always saving, and revert to a previous setting.

On the MegaTune program, I select "OriginalBGcode" and then my ...

Thanks Matt, I'll try that. I'm not sure where to start with the VE table adjustments.

Not sure about changing req_fuel settings....Help?

Hey all,
I've got a fairly mild 250 Chevy six with 3 39lb. injectors - one for each siamesed port. The req_fuel calculator sets me up at 11.7 with 6 squirts per engine cycle. The bottom number comes in around 3.7-ish.

Ok, fine, starts and runs decent. Loses power at mid-high throttle. So I set the ...

MAP sensor vacuum source questions....

Hey all! I've got an interesting setup which currently runs fairly well, yet still dialing it in.

It's a 250 Chevy straight six, with 3 throttle bodies, individually feeding the 3 siamesed cylinders. I've got 3/8 fuel line between each t-body to try to make a more even vacuum reading to the MAP ...

...................and those Ford pumps had low pressure boost pumps in the tanks as well. At least make sure you mount your pump low so it primes easier.

Thats a good point, I was concerned about that. Right now I've got it set up as a 6 cylinder with 3 injectors and it idles smooth. I plan on playing around with it, including setting it at 6 injectors (instead of 3) and seeing how that runs.
Either way, can't be any worse than carburetion which has ...

Thanks for the reply, that's what I'll try then. Found out the parts store sold me a low pressure pump, instead of a high pressure pump. Ah well, minor setback. Maybe run it this afternoon???

Thanks again!

3 injectors on a 6 cylinder engine MATH QUESTION please!

Hello all! Just got my 50 Burb Megasquirted, and almost running. I have a basic math problem though,
My intake uses siamesed ports, so I have 3 injectors. One for cyls 1+2, another for cyls 3+4, another for cyls 5+6.

If I do the math one way, I should be running around 39 flow rate, but thats ...
