Re: Come on out to MegaSquirt Meet 2011!

Nah, I'm pretty sure they'll be at the hotel. It'll be fun to hang out at the track, Saturday night's always a great time. We've had some interesting mis-adventures involving golf carts and low hanging tree limbs, golf cart hill climbs, etc... among other exploits. This year we're bringing pit bikes...

Re: Come on out to MegaSquirt Meet 2011!

Several from our crew will of course be up there. I'm probably camping, as is Russ. Ben lives right down the road and will probably stay at home. Matt I'm not sure of. The rest of the staff that's coming out I'm not sure of yet either... We've had a fair amount of response on some of the forums we s...

Re: EFI for Bonneville

What event are you taking the bike to? I go to Speed Week every year in August (though I may miss this year, new baby coming just before the event), and World Finals is in October, but it doesn't look like the SCTA has anything planned in September? One way or another we'll be glad to help out spec'...

Come on out to MegaSquirt Meet 2011!

We've been working hard at planning a cool meet this year. It's always a good time and often has been had at DIYAutoTune HQ in Suwanee, GA, but this year we wanted to make it a bit more fun, so we're taking the MegaMeet up to Road Atlanta in combination with the Classic MotorSports Mitty! It's 3 day...

Re: MegaSquirt Meet 2009

As always--good to see you again Jeremy! (btw, a 350+whp 4cyl pickup is probably worth showing off... should've gotten that thing on the dyno!)

We did have a great meet-- we've got pics and some of the presentation files posted online here: http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/events/megameet_2009.htm

MegaSquirt Meet 2009

It's winter... but spring is coming, and that means the MegaMeet is coming too. April 18th is the date this year, same weekend as last year (17th-19th are the full dates). Location is again here in Suwanee, GA at DIYAutoTune HQ. As always there will be new and upcoming hardware and software to sneak...

You could also have it backwards so it goes down when you open it, easy fix flip 2 wires. If the reading does not change when you move the throttle you could have the wiper wire to the wrong terminal in the TPS. True, and once calibrated you can't see this via the TPS% gauge, but it will wreak havo...

On to Tools menu you can calibrate your TPS. Then close Megatune and power off your MS. When you come back in and power up you'll be good to go...

While that would likely work just fine the docs for relay control with MSnS-E are here and this works just fine: http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/outputs.htm I have a simple little kit with the parts needed here if you want it, or you can pick the parts up locally I'm sure... http://www.DIYAu...

You mentioned Innovate who makes the LC-1 controller which is very affordable and does a great job- if you've already got the sensor you can get just the controller for $149 and it will wire right into the MS. I've got some info on the configuration and wiring (MS usage specific) here: http://www.DI...

Ignition is a different topic altogether-- you'll either need a distributor (such as the Ford TFI ignition system) or a distributorless system (such as the Ford EDIS system). Both can be easily controlled with the MS. Here's a page that might interest you and help you to get your 302 'squirted: http...

That's purty. I'll put it up on my fridge next to my daughters drawings! j/k

It's exactly right though, you could also do every other on each side but the two in the middle, two on the outside approach will work fine.

I'm really glad to hear it was helpful for you-- I do have alot more work to do on it as I want to cover the myriad of other ignition options that are available, and I've really only got the most basic distributor setups covered now, though I was getting asked about those setups quite often and want...
