O.K., say I ended up choosing a cam with a larger degree of overlap to maximize scavenging. Would it cause a lean condition or noticeably increased fuel consumption due to the characteristics of an MPI system such as the TPI with MS-II?

That is strange... So just get an old fashioned eight tooth distributor and call it good for MegaSquirt?

So you think the timing wheel in this distributor has 16 teeth, as opposed to just the normal eight (for a V8). If I disassembled it, is that what I'd be looking for?
