i looked at the distributor 3 days ago. one wheel had four teeth and the other had many teeth of which i did not count,however i looked at the parts diagram in the manual and counted 24 teeth. does this sound typical? if not i'll count the teeth as soon as i get the chance and i'll let you know.

sorry ,computer problems again.i do not know the details about mr2 oem ignition,however i do know that my distibutor has two signal rotors,one for crank position and one for cam position.also has electronic spark advance. i think the difference is between vast and IIA ignition systems. mine does not...
