Re: Another stepper wiring question.
I don't mind keeping my foot on the pedal while warming it up.
Thanks again.

Re: Another stepper wiring question.
You may be onto the problem there Matt.Matt Cramer wrote:Are you sure this is, in fact, a stepper motor? It sounds to me like you may have a DC servomotor and the other three wires are a potentiometer for an IAC position sensor. What exactly is this IAC out of?
It is from a 91 Chevy Sprint 1L non-turbo.

12v supply > switch > fuse> pump > ground
The pump acted the same way as previously described.
I shall spend money, thus fixing the problem
Thanks for the help guys (girls if any).

Re: Engine runs out of fuel after starting, please help!
I used the pressurized (to-TBI) fuel line for my little test.
I will go wire the pump to a rocker switch, see how far I get tonight, then report back here.
Thanks for the help so far.

Re: Engine runs out of fuel after starting, please help!
I have a stand-alone fuel pressure regulator, but I don't have it currently installed, as I was told that GM TBI's have a built-in FPR.
My system is as follows:
Tank>pump>filter>TBI>tank
When I get home, I will try to "bleed" the system, although I doubt it will do ...

Engine runs out of fuel after starting, please help!
After deducing that the engine really was running out of fuel, and not losing spark, I pulled the fuel line off the TBI and put it in a clear water ...

Re: Which grounds to use where.
Looking at the V3.0 diagram (http://www.megamanual.com/index.html), should the O2, fuel pump and main relay be grounded to the engine, or is the negative terminal on the batter good enough? I was also wondering the same about pins 8,9,10,11 and 18; should they go to the engine ground ...

Which grounds to use where.
As per the megamanual, pins 8,9,10,11 and 18 are to be grounded to the same lug. Leaving the ground from pin 19 for sensor grounding.
My question is, does pin 19 HAVE to the sensor ground?
I am trying to get around taking my ...

If you have a throttle body injection system, and if coolant runs through it, put the sensor close to that.

Re: MS-II connected to a rocker switch rather than igition key?
I searched and got very close to getting a straight answer, but didn't quite nail it down.
On my MS-2 wiring harness, I see the one that says 12VDC, that one will be my switched positive right? Which ground do I use to ground the MS itself? Just one of the ...

Can I mount/run my TBI on its side?
I'm turbocharging my 90 Sambar KS4 pickup and have a question about the TBI assembly I chose (from a scrap yard).
I pulled the TBI assy. off a 91 Chevy Sprint 1.0L TBI. According to my research, the injector is there should be rated at 59.15 lbs/h @ 43.5 psi... which should provide ...
