Heat Soaking MAT - cycling idle on restarts

Hi folks,
I finally figured out what was causing this symptom -

When shutting the car off I might see CLT=180F and MAT=75F. A half hour later I get CLT=150 and MAT=125. On restart my idle will fluctuate wildly up and down and bounce between 14.xx to 19:1 on the AFR.

I can only assume that the ...

Err... nobody has attempted using injectors this large on a smaller turbo engine? The folks at RC Injectors are confident that they'll work without a second thought - "with a properly tuned stand-alone".

I'd love to hear from someone who has tried it with MS?

650cc injectors on 2.0L turbo 4cyl?

I'm hitting 80% duty cycle currently with my 440cc @3bar injectors and need to upgrade. This is at 11psi boost and the only things keeping me from hitting 1 bar+ are the injectors.

The injector sizing calculator shows that 300 crank HP at 3bar fuel pressure for a turbo would require 650cc injectors ...

I looked at the code and the ae scaler should cut off all AE after the hi rpm (it sets tpsaccel = 0 if rpm > hi_rpm_threshold).

A-ha! I didn't know this was based on TPSdot only. I was running 100% MAPdot. I'll make the switch to TPS AE (been meaning to anyway).

Thanks for the quick answer

AE RPM Scaling - Not Working?

MS-II v2.686
MegaTune v2.25
MegaLogViewer v2.73

Hey folks,
I have my AE RPM scaling set with:
Low Thresh = 2000rpm
High Thread = 2600rpm

I wanted to see what happens when I have AE for just for off-idle enrichment. However, I just looked at a datalog it's flagging Accel:Y at 4300rpm+

I thought ...

Split the wire off coil pin 2 so that one end is going to EDIS pin 8, and one side is going into the capacitor - which is grounded through it's body to whatever it's bolted to. That's what the diagram is trying to show.

I always thought that diagram could use a box where the capacitor is to make it more obvious that you're not sending +12V to ground!
