how do I accomplish this? do i need to use a different senor? or do i need to change my ground location? sorry for the questions I am very new at using this system.

I am running a MSD hall effect sensor pn 4154 for a briggs and stratton engine. my MS-II is not recieving any kind of tach signal from the sensor. As of right now I have the sensor wired to a 12v source and grounded on its own ground (I did not use pin 2 on the harness to ground) and the signal to ...
