Thanks for comments: What I was wanting to do is not install 36-1 wheel and VR sensor, but all the remaining EDIS components; Then have crankshaft position input to MS from a modified Optical distributor. There is so much reading and so many variations in the manuals and set up instructions, but It ...

6 cyl EDIS set up
MS 2 V 3.0 Jag inline 6 cyl. Has any one used an optical input distributor (5 of 6 slots closed off) to trigger a Ford EDIS ignition system? From what I read so far, the slot should be (60 +10) deg BTDC number one cylinder? I am having trouble figuring out the mounting for the 36-1 wheel on my VIB ...
