hows this look, after some trial and error i finally got car running. I ended up changing to rising instead of falling. I still have a lot of fine tuning to do but it runs.

also notice this. in the first pic. were tdc is the rotor points at 1, in the 2nd pic. the rotor is after 1(or advance correct). So shouldn't i be going down in timing?

i started it up,with the light on. and changed the trigger i finally saw it around 50. My dig. timing light is broken, so i am waiting for friend to bring his over to double check.

Car runs but acts wierd. I can get car started but it acts wierd. CurrentTune.msq
I have to give it some gas, to run ok it will run fine when i idle it down. Then it starts to spit out the intake, not backfire. I think this is cause of this. I think it runs ...

Does it start when you bypass the relay or does it still not start ? It sounds like your not detecting any tach pulses
no tach pulses= fuel pump off after it primes and no injector firing. watch your rpm gauge in megatune when cranking it
should indicate a few hundred rpm while cranking.

the MS doesn't seem to be grounding out the relay. i grounded it with a test wire and it came on all the time.

fuel pressure doesn't go up or down when cranking for 10 to 15 seconds.

Just my 2 cents worth......

I also have a fuel pressure gauge and it definitely bounces to the regulated pressure during prime and then falls back a bit after 2 seconds. The pressure then comes back up to the regulated value ...

if i get in car it, and try to start, it will fire then die. if i try again it wont fire. If i prime a few times it will fire and die. I can smell gas. Every time i have pulled plugs out they were dry, so i assume i am not ...

i found a problem, its my fault. I hooked the relay up to power, while cranking. So i need to look for another wire.

pin E and pin R are backwards. on the coil there is the other connector, battery and tach, i have the battery hooked up to the battery directly(this will be hooked up to the ignition then)

I would get the fuel situation fixed if you get spark with the B pin disconnected, then put the B pin back up and get the spark set up. Exactly what input mods are you using for HEI

I have the fuel taken care of. I forgot were i read it, but i saw somewere. When the adc count goes over like 178 ...

I had spark for a til Friday night. I did not have fuel, it only fired on the first try after the 2 sec. prime. Sunday went to yard and picked up another 8 pin hei module with coil. I hooked it up and had spark again. I had the first one mounted to the fender well. Must have over heated, cause it ...

This is one of those days, that makes me wonder. I forgot to hook up the battery. wire. thanks matt, anyway it is supposed to be wired up to the TDC sensor? I was just wondering cause it only has one trigger. and the CKP has 12 windows i think
