there's a slim change you might see interference from the stereo at high volume probably best to tuck the ecu out the way, glovebox works well for some people, i personally have mine tucked in my centre console

im assuming its multipoint injection with a coil pack and vr sensor,

so you could probably get away with a ms1 v3 with internal coil drivers and tip120 transistor mod to run the ford icvs
depending on your budget a wideband lambda and controller would be useful
