Re: Smooth idle then abrupt dip, then smooth idle returns
I am running the Relay board, and that had been grounded well, however I was 'piggy backing' off that ground for my wideband o2 sensor. I had soldered the relay board, and the LC-1 grounds onto one wire, and then grounded that to the engine ...

Re: Smooth idle then abrupt dip, then smooth idle returns
Everything is grounded to one spot on the engine block, but I may move it to see if I get any better results. I have noticed that the temperature seems quite jittery as well, maybe this could be the issue as well.

Smooth idle then abrupt dip, then smooth idle returns
Not running any idle control (aside from the idle screw on the TB), and have been working on tuning idle. I have it sitting well, from what I can gather, but I have this strange dip every 45 seconds or so. RPMs drop, and then come right back.
Attached is the ...

Re: EDIS-8 Troubleshooting
You guys will never believe what it was, it was a bad pin on the EDIS connector! The wire was broken off of the pin, but still wedged into the plastic connector (i.e. no connectivity)
SO I pulled apart an extra connector I had, stole the pin and put the new pin into the already wired ...

EDIS-8 Troubleshooting
As stated in an earlier thread, I am running MSII V3.0 ( MSII Rev 2.89100 ), Using EDIS and the Relay board.
Little back story here. Fresh install, just finished wiring, and tried to crank the car a week or so. All sensors are responding ...

Re: VR Sensor Wiring w/ DIY Autotune's 12' Bundle
We've just revised the wire bundle (as in a few days ago) to use two 22 gauge wires in a foil shield for the VR sensor wire. This wire is sold on its own as well.
So using ...

VR Sensor Wiring w/ DIY Autotune's 12' Bundle
I have MSII V3.0, using EDIS and the relay board. I was curious about the wiring of the VR Sensor itself, with the 12' loose bundle from DIY Autotune.
Can I use the shielding of the Ignition wire as the negative(-) side of the Grey ...

Re: Step 55 No RPM and o2 Unresponsive
After reading over the manual again, I realized a few issues.
A. I missed the JS10 to IGN jumper in earlier steps
B. I jumped the wrong jumpers... I had TACHSELECT/VRIN jumped (instead of TACHSELECT/OPTOIN) and TSEL/VROUT jumped (instead of TSEL/OPTOUT)
Sometimes taking a ...

Step 55 No RPM and o2 Unresponsive
Specs:
MSII v3.0
Code Version: 2.891
JimStim 1.5
Three ( CLT, MAT, TPS ) are responding on the Real-Time Display, however the o2 sensor, and the RPM signals are not responding as I think they should.
The o2 gauge reads a value ...
