new laptop need registration code

I have recently bought a new laptop and installed all my megasquirt related files onto it. How do I go about using my existing registration for tuner studio? It's been a few years since I registered and don't know how to go about getting the old registration code. I could not find a link or anything...

Re: new build advise 240z with l28et

Maybe the electric fans, I might possiby need to control a transmission(gpio) some where in the future... no nitrous. What do you mean by ballast Matt ? and what else could I be needing to control ? This is my first turbo build and would like to use the ms as an electronic boost controller. Is this ...

new build advise 240z with l28et

I have recently bought a 72 240z along with a 280zx turbo motor when I put the turbo motor in I will be controlling everything with the megasquirt and would like to hear some opinions/advice on what main board and version of the code I should use. Here is what I have planned so far: 280zx Turbo inte...

Re: AE settings

Does 2000 seem high? AE wizard reports 2000 when I mash it but Mega log viewer shows it maxed out at 200... this is for tpsdot it doesn't puff black smoke or buck or stall

hp and tq in MLV

Are the HP and Tq numbers in MLV corrected for elevation like a chassis dyno? And are these numbers supposed to be wheel Hp and Tq?

Re: How can I tell if my throttle body is to small?

Yeah, I didn't mean to say idle. The reason I ask is I was expecting my stock 48mm throttle body off of a 94 camaro to be restrictive. Are the HP and torque numbers calculated by Mega logger wheel horsepower and torque?

How can I tell if my throttle body is to small?

I believe that I read somewhere that if you can hit the same MAP reading at full throttle that you have at Idle than your throttle body is not restictive. Is that true? What readings would be effected by throttle body sizing? FYI I am not looking for someone to tell me wether or not they believe tha...

AE settings

I know I read a post on hear before about this but now I can't find it. I am tryin to find a good setting for the accel enrichments settings for my set up. It is my understanding that when I mash the petal if the %/sec is 2000 than this means it went from 0 to full throttle in 1/20th of a sec. Is th...

Re: Choosing Afr

To Wasyl, Your also at 106(346 ft) meters right? My elevation is 5000 ft which i believe is 1.52 kilometers. So I believe that would make a bit of difference in tuning. I have read in the manual so i know where abouts to start and it does drive around ok.I was just looking for some advise on how to ...

Choosing Afr

How do I know if I have entered the correct AFR. I am trying to get my tables dialed in with no ego corrections or accelerator enrichments. I dont really see any lean surges but there is a very light flutter to the exhaust note and seems a little light on power with only slight acceleration (less th...

Re: alternator sizing

Well I would want the alternator to handle everything being ON obviously the auto manufacturers felt that cars with fuel injection and power everything needed larger (105amp) alternators, I'm not running a drag only car

Re: AFR different between guages

Measure the output wires from your lc-1. i had the same problem the wire going to the gauge was reading 5 volts the wire going to ms was reading 4 volts both of these were measured after the vehicle sat over night, key on but not running. Although i had both still set to the default 0-5 volts in lm ...

Re: alternator sizing

My grounds are all over sized i believe... 3/4 inch braided ground strap to firewall and 2awg welding cable to frame. I did find a 108 amp alternator out of an 85 buick park ave that was vbelt driven, however i found that my optima red top had a dead cell which hopefully was the problem i 'll find o...
