EDIS-8 & LS2 Coils

I have a 434 cubic inch EFI Ford Motor running EDIS-8. The EDIS module drives 8 Delco D585 coils through an Interface circuit. I fire 2 coils at a time in Wasted Spark mode.

I am having trouble with Ignition Kickback on startup. I am on the 3rd starter motor, since I did this. It seems to run OK ...

I have an EEC-IV EFI 434 cubic inch Ford motor with an EDIS-8 setup. I use a 36-1 Crank Wheel and a VR sensor. I set it up to 10 degrees advanced and it runs great. Matt,

Thanks that helps a lot.

The LS2 Schematic has a note that the LS2 Coil Connector is flipped relative to the LS1 Coil Connector.

I purchased a harness that is supposed to be for LS1, LS2, etc.

Do I need to modify that harness?

I am planning to use Delco D585 Coils in a coil-near-plug setup. I plan to build an interface box to control the coils.

Are the Igniter input signals simple 5 Volt Logic?
Do I need to have an open collector to pull down a 12 volt input?
Is the dwell period a Logic Low or a Logic High?
