Holl,
Thanks for that. I assume since you 'slowed' yours down, that it's normal for the controller's gauge to be a bit erratic while running?

Re: First start-up, fires but no idle. MS II fuel only.

Finally complete success! I finally got the IAC valve 'zereoed' in, so that it is completely closed at 180 degrees F, and now the truck idles nicely at about 850 rpm. I've since installed an MTX L wideband sensor and controller which has helped me get a pretty decent map using Tuner Studio and the a...

Re: First start-up, fires but no idle. MS II fuel only.

Gentlemen... I am back with new results... After frying a few components several months ago on the controller, I replaced them, and went on with my business... but it seems that the firmware was corrupt which was causing my startup and die issue. Re: Release the Magick Smoke!

Just wanted to post a reply, that I replaced the three components in question, and everything seems to be working normally.

Now on to the start-up and tuning...

Thanks!

Re: Release the Magick Smoke!

Matt, Finally got my head out of my broken Subaru engine and replaced the U5 regulator and now have .499 volts on all 5v pins, as well as still having proper voltage on the 12v side. So it looks like I just need to replace C13,C14 and R19 and I should be good to go? I'm just wondering if this indica...
