Are we talking about some kind of timer to switch from the MAT to the IAT for 5 min at start up? Use a thermo sensor to decide if the "switch" is needed?

Has anyone else gone crazy in this direction?

I have an IAT located about 6" in front of the throttle plates. There is a place on the manifold for another sensor (MAT). Can one run both sensers at the same time? If so, how? High speed switching between the two? Just connect the two together? Naw, that would relly give a bad reading.
