How Common is it for EDIS-4 module to fail. What type of symtom do they exhibit when they fail. intermitant spark, no spark at all, week spark, no pip, no saw or all of the above.

im getting intermitant spark on my EDIS-4 conversion i want to rule out the possibility of a bad coil pack im using a oem motorcraft coil pack with oem bosch wires and bosch wr7dc plugs whats the best way to test the coil pack? iv made sure that the module pin 8 and coil pack pin 2 have system or 12...

Is the engine a bad place to ground the EDIS-4 module pin 9 and pin 7 the shielded cables for the vr sensor. im getting really intermitant spark and dont want to rule it out?
