Cannot control timing with MSII
We have the MSII working great with everything except controlling the coil directly. We have gone over the wiring, regrounded everything properly but it simply will not control the timing. We have tested the voltage on pin#36 and we are getting ~4-5 volts but it is constant, no grounding to trigger ...

I should have been more clear, when i touched one probe to the JP2 there was an uncomfortable 'buzz'. I am concerned about damaging the board. Should I be grounding the scope's probe to something? I am a computer geek rather than an electronics geek.

We have the car starting and idling just fine. However, the rpm's are jumping around a bit. We have an oscilloscope and all i can find is to use pin2 of JP1 and pin 14 on the daughter card. I was hoping to not touch things on the board, but if I have to, how can i safely use the probes from the ...
