For my Microsquirt I need to do this sometimes in TunerStudio:

- go to "Communications" and click "Settings

- now make sure the Microsquirt is powered on

- click "Detect" and see if it comes up, and if it does click "Accept"

For me it seems to be 50/50 if it finds the MS when I first plug into ...

Running Microsquirt on my 944 and love it. You can definitely do spark only with it, in fact you could do all 4 sequentially if you really wanted to.

Here's an idea though... what about using EDIS ignition, controlled by MS? All you would need to do is mount a 36-1 wheel. I've seen a lot of the VW ...

Update to thread - car has been up and running beautifully for the last several weeks on MicroSquirt and aforementioned hardware choices. Injectors are Bosch 0 280 150 431.

I'm squirting my '83 Porsche 944 soon. It uses L-Jetronic, but my plan is to abandon all of that (use front mounted trigger wheel, COP conversion, MAP/IAT, etc).
