Hi Eric,

I was under the impression from Al that MS set egoCorrection2=egoCorrection1 when in single sensor modes, as egoCorrection2 is used in the pw2 calculation.

If this is the case then averaging them should work under all conditions.

I'll mail you later with a modified megasquirt-II.ini and ...

Hi Eric,

I have been looking at the settings, and the default ones don't seem to be optimal for Dual

wideband or dual table users. What do you think about a couple of changes to the

megasquirt-II.ini file?

egoCorrection1 = scalar, S16, 34, "%", 1.000, 0.0
egoCorrection = { egoCorrection1 ...

Autotune - how exactly does it work?

I'm using the Autotune feature in MegaTune to fine tune my MS-II another ECU.

There's a couple of questions I have:

a) When MT calculates a corrected VE value for a particular bin, is it written back to the MS with subsequent corrections applied to the changing VE value. Or is the new VE stored in ...

I'm still keen to find out what the logic is here.

I would imagine it's possible to start and run an engine with an AIR temperature of -40. However, the MS bases both its Idle Air and Warmup Enrichment on COOLANT temperature.

The values must have been chosen for a reason, or because of a standard ...

IAC Steps - bin values

I'm running MS-II on a v3.0 pcb and a GM stepper IAC

I have the bin values setup, however the correct stepper position in the top bin at 71C (160F) is fine when the engine is at that temperature. However as the engine heats up further, for example sitting in traffic, it needs even less air and ...
