Hi, trakkies. thanks for the help , the problem with digikey uk is the delivery cost, 12 quid to deliver ..... while RS and Maplin have stores nearby.

MsI V2.2 L1 and L2 Choke / Inductor replacement

Hi all.
I was trying to tidy up my old MS1 V2.2 and I damaged L1 (Inductor 1uH, M8388-ND, 70F106AI-RC).

I am living in the UK and I was trying to find a replacement on "RS components" store or Maplin.

I would like to know if I can just order any choke of 1uh capable of 2Amp or does it have to be ...

the 4age 20v ones are 295cc.
try find some of those and up the pressure a bit , it might suit your needs ....

I'm about to do that as well , I'm just a bit worried with timing ....
since ms only has 2 injector banks , I'm setting the first set in the head with batch fire and the second on the outside of the trompets also as batch .
but i have read somewhere that on the outside each injector has to be fired ...

knock detection circuit

hi
I have assembled the knock detection circuit as it is in http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/pix/knock-circuit.jpg

it's working quite well now. the led on the circuit is always grounded and it gets +ve when it is supposed to give light.
all is good.

the thing is , im trying to connect ...
