Re: V2.2 w/flyback board wiring question

Thanks Matt. I was leaning that way, now I'll do it.

V2.2 w/flyback board wiring question

Would it be a good idea to take the 12v to the flyback damping board from outside MS, or is that only a V3.0 board noise issue.

I'm building up an old V2.2 I had around for a lo-z injector V8, and am at the output side construction.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I found a resistance value for the old resistance wire, and I'm going to source up a length of suitable resistance wire to duplicate it on my new install. The ballast resistor was too much. In the meantime, I'm going to run it full bore. I just want to cut down the heat and ...

fuel pump resistor

My Merkur used a resistor wire on the ground side to reduce the delivery rate of the supply pump. I want to use a high pressure pump as a supply pump on my swirl pot system (because I have one).

I have an ignition ballast resistor to use, it is a beefy heat sinked unit. Should I wire it on the ...

Thanks for the speedy reply, Lance!

I am indeed looking at the coil wire to supply both the MS and the EDIS with power. It's the one powered through the starter relay in the fashion I mention above.

I'm thinking I may use that wire to power another relay that will supply the MS and EDIS through a ...

Ignition switch wiring question

I know I need an uninterrupted 12v when in run and crank.

My ignition switch has no such position. It is wired so that in run there is power on a (white) wire that feeds the ignition. In crank the white is powered from the switch through a relay that holds the 12v from the crank position to the ...
