Pretty common stuff here at NA rally cars. Tuned a few of those (alpha-N) and they work pretty good. Can be mechanically a bit noisy at idle if too much clearance and good off idle transition needs a bit tuning too. Good air filter or periodically cleaning is a must.

I won't argue with that but if you turn B and E around then it comes to basic switch, possibly with a current limiting function (R805). R806 and D801 are there for flyback.

You must have SC4065's base and emitter crossed at that schematic.
That c945 could be 2sc945.

A friend of mine has been using vw 1.8T blue injectors at 125 psi (by accident) without problems. We swapped intake manifold and injectors and found that bosch motorsport green injectors did not like faulty pressure regulator that give us a bit higher than normal fuel pressure.
