Make sure the ground points are clean bare metal. Wire wheel them to remove paint so the contact is metal on metal.

The ones you see above with the nice clip are available from www.kayjayco.com. As are the pins and boots. Kayjayco also has 3, 4, 5 and I think 6 pin shells in the same style.

Try www.eagleday.com they have 2 pins, cant remember about three pins.
