I have just scoped a HEC 716 Bosch coil. designed to replace older electronic ignition coils.
I found 5.5 ms entered in mega tune at 13.5 volts running was just to the end of the saturation ramp.
I will pick up a inductance meter in a few days and see if the maths shows what I saw on the scope.

I have re flashed and re configured from scratch. Attached are the msq settings for 2.888a and a log as you can see in this one single markers are a miss and groups of markers are very bad missing i described earlier. I was hoping 2.888a fixed the ignition issues.

yes, always one of the first things I scramble to check after first successful firing after a firmware change. I will re flash and start from scratch. I started with low boost to. The strange thing is if I place the ignition back to old vr / vrmodule (no ms controll at all) the car drives fine. as bad injection timing is noware neer as critical as ignition timing.

Update, the bad misfires are still there, the accell changes helped only for accell. I am hoping someone out there can help with the MSQ. I unfortunately did not have my laptop to take another log. It was quite warm today.

Sorry for the no reply, I have just returned from a long drive to and back home from my brothers wedding, My issues changed priority from this weird mixture issue to miss firing. Input was sorted after purchasing a cro however the misfires persist but at least I know the signal to processor is clean...

Here we have a disagreement, not uncommon in forums. As your going normally aspirated it does not matter anyway. A standard 1/1 regulator will be fine. If you decide to go boost I would see performance shops to get a idea of what they do. The advice I have received has been use a standard reg. this ...

Rising rate would add more fuel pressure than just keeping the pressure difference the same. This would cause ve's to flatten out as boost came on. I believe these were designed for systems without control of the tune. I would continue to Google / call some performance shops to see what they recomme...

I have set up the tables so the load points encapsulate the idle area. I,e. 800 rpm and 1100 rpm points, and 20 and 50 kPa. Map at idle is pretty stable around 45 kPa and advance is steady. Pulse widths are fairly stable to. The problem I have Is best described this way. Say you tuned for 14.7 @ idl...

With Mega squirt and the Ve algorithm you don't need a rising rate regulator, In fact a rising rate regulator will make the ve table look weird. A good manifold referenced regulator that is 1 to 1 rate will work well. Just be wary of cheep regs and the total horsepower of your application and specif...
