It makes a fairly large difference whether the throttle bodies are before the blower, or after the blower. If they are before it, treat them exactly the same as on a n/a engine making the same amount of power (BIG!), if they are after it, it isn't nearly as important, as you can push a lot more air ...

If this used to be a Bosche LH jetronic car (all volvo 2.3's, as far as i know), the TPS is just two little microswitches, one that is turned on at full throttle, one that is turned on at idle.

If this is the case you will need to swap a variable resistance TPS on from another car.
