Relay wiring. Breaking a ground to trigger?

Post by jon volk »

Ive currently got my launch control hooked up to a push button. The OEM clutch pedal swith opens when the clutch is depressed. I want to hook up a relay in such a manner that i can use this switch w/ the launch control which engages when grounded of course.

Whats the solution :RTFM:

If you used a relay that had normally closed contact, like this one, you could ground the relay's coil through the OE pedal switch and wire the launch control to contacts 30 and 87a. Just make sure you're using a relay that's designed for continuous use because the coil will be energized most of time.
