Re: Innovate, Bosch Wide Band O2 Sensor Setup
there are two versions, the one I have has 6 cables to wire:
Blue + White goes to common ground
Red goes to +12v switched
Then yellow is NB output 1 (low res) > you can feed this to let's say stock ecu or a NB gauge
Brown is NB output 2 (high res) > you can feed this to the O2 input on MS and set up NS as on the page above.
The last cable on the LC1 I have, is a black one. This one is for calibration of the O2 sensor, which must be done in free air - before fitting it in your exhaust (per. the manual).
This is also very easy to wire.. You then just wire the button which comes with the LC1 between ground and the black wire. You can also wire the Led which comes with it, for debugging purpose.
When you have calibrated it,you just have to set it up in MS too.
I have the Bosch LSU sensor and the LC1 controller, it was a very cheap combo.
You can also look at the JAW if you dont have a controller yet, as that is VERY cheap too.

I am glad you posted this question, because a couple of my questions just got answered... thanks, and an even bigger thanks to those who responded.
BTW, I have a well used AEM 6 in 1 gauge wideband somewhere... is that worth looking for, or shouldd I use the innovate (which seems to be the standard here for MS)

Re: Innovate, Bosch Wide Band O2 Sensor Setup
I found a website that sells the wideband bosh sensor and a controller. I think it is in UK and I also think that as a pretty nice price.
From the specification I think it will work fine with MS. Has anyone ever tested this controller? You can check it out in Trigger-Wheels.com
Thanks

Just to be a total noob and clarify; only one wire (the brown one) goes from the LC-1 to the MS-II harness?

It's not recommended.madk4speed wrote:Is it OK if i extend the cable of the sensor going to the controller? I can recalibrate the sensor then anyway.
