Machining Fuel Rail

Post by dprice »

I am building a new Fuel Rail which is being tapped to accept AN fittings.

I am trying to determine the diameter of the O-Ring Boss at the top of the tap.

This is for both a -4 (Injector Supply) and -8 Fitting (Rail Ends).

Does anyone know where I can find this info anyplace.

whenever i use AN type o-ring fittings i use port spec SAE J1926-1. the o-ring boss for the injector fittings should be machined to .540+.003-.000.
