150lb injectors with Mega II but need a little help

Post by turbonotch »

I am getting ready to wire my injectors and have a question.

I am using 8 150lb injectors (low imp) with a mega II, I have searched and read different things about how these will work. So I am asking here what do I need to do to use these injectors. This will be mostly a race car if that matters.

1. Do I need to wire resistors, or will they be fine without them. If so how would this wire up?

Thank you for you help.

meagsquirt 2 means you are running a v3 board and that contains the flyback circuitry to run low impediance injectors, so you dont need anything.

what are the motor specs, and whats sort of power are you planning on making??? im gonna guess turbo or supercharged.

The motor is a Ford 393 stroker with a single turbo. I am looking at 800-1000 fwhp on E85 fuel. So the megasquirt II will fire 8 low imp. injectors without mods. That's great!

Thanks for the reply,
Jason
