Injector Fuel rail for Mercedes M103 3.0L engine

Post by initialitaly »

Hi,
I am new here.
Just to see if anybody knows if the fuel injector rail coming off from Mercedes M104 (2.8L, 3.2L, 3.6L) engine can fit the M103 3.0L engine. :RTFM:

I am looking for replacing the CIS system of my Mercedes W126 300SEL with modern fuel injection system, so thinking of Megasquirt.

That requires a fuel injection rail that can fit the M103 engine. If the rail from M104 engine can fit, then I need not to custom make the fuel rail.
Cheers!

Hi, I've an a Mercedes 200E '92 squirted and I know that is not the same engine, the best thing is to build it yourself or someone who knows. Maybe you need to do some work in the intake manifold too to fit the new injectors, I'll recomends you something like the bosch EV6 long high impedance (you can get it on ebay).
