How can I test the MS2 IAC outputs?

Post by abernier »

Hi,

I'm running MS2 on a V3.0 board using a 4 wires GM type IAC. The IAC was working fine with the stock ECU but I can't get it to move at all with MS2.
I have checked wiring continuity and switch the wires to IAC around but nothing is moving.
Is there a simple way to check if a signal is sent by MS2 to the IAC. Unfortunqtely I don't have access to an oscillo. Would a digital or analog voltmeter do the trick? what readings should I expect?

Thanks for your help

Who built the ecu? there are a number of jumpers that need to be put in ,from there its plain sailing just follow the manual

Hi,

Thanks for reminding me. Actually I might have missed the :Install a jumper from the hole marked S12C to the hole marked JS9 (+12C) ..
I will check this out ASAP.

If all my wiring/jumping is correct what voltage/signal shall I expect as output?
