I am currently running a wide band and have always had minor glitches with it. Now its having major issues that are looking like they will take time and money. I was wondering how different a narrow band is going to be to get used to? What range do they display? Once you are out of that range do they tell you if they are rich or lean? I have a pretty good handle on tuning now so I am wondering if I really need to spend the money to maintain the WB. Plan was always to go to a narrow and use the WB on another car.
Any thoughts or opinions are welcome

The NBO2 will only display rich or lean, not the actual AFR like a WBO2 will. If your VE tables are pretty well set, switching to a NBO2 would be useful to keep an eye on them now and then, but I think I'd just remove the O2 sensor altogether and use the WBO2 for another project, or when you need to re-tune MS. Just my 2c.

I believe that's what the NBO2 will display. There is a very small amount of variation from lean to rich, and I'd have to read the Megamanual to find out as I've never used EGO, (I'm running Ethanol).

The problem with narrow bands is that they have a very marked "knee" in their response curve and once they're off 14.7, the actual voltage returned is as much a function of their temp as well as the mixture. See the attached graphs. I wish I could give accurate attribution for these graphs but they're at numerous websites and they do reflect known NB behavior as related to temp.
