Does v3.0 code calculate fuel different from early code?
The short backstory is, I updated the firmware to get the PWM disable while cranking, because I was having a very hard time starting my car unless the engine was warm and the battery had a solid change.
Engine is a Mazda 13B with a large street port (needs lots fuel when cranking cold) with two 680cc injectors. PWM settings are 1.0ms, 75%, and 1.0ms.
I had been sorta kinda having problems with cranking before, and had been bumping into the 25.5ms limitation in trying to get the car to start cold. The problems came to a head with the new engine. With the PWM-disable feature of the 3.0 code, my settings are now much more in line with what other people seem to use.
Now that I think of it, when I grabbed a generic 13B VE table for use with my original 13B (standard 6-port) I had to take a lot of fuel out everywhere... Hmm.
