TPS/MAP ????
I am still tuning my car after fitting MS1 v3...4 cyl 2.0l Mercedes.
everything looks O.K.and the laptop shows good results on all sensors.
The MAP sensor works and the needle reflects this, The TPS gives
from 0% to 99% and shows exactly what my foot is doing on the pedal.
She runs a bit rough at idle and splutters just a little with the pedal,
Idle is at about 1800 revs now.
If I unplug my TPS, the idle is smooth, response from the pedal is
better although the idle is high.( I'm working on the idle revs.)
But why would disconnecting the TPS affect the MAP sensor?
Anyone?
Re: TPS/MAP ????
Sorry, I have not found out about datalogging yet in this system.
Please would you give me a couple of steps to do that?
Cheers.
Re: TPS/MAP ????
In the interim, I have found that my accelerator cable mounting on the throttle body is unstable and I can get the idle down if I twist the bracket and pull on the spring.
This will be rectified in short order and may eliminate the problem.......
It will be handy to find out how to do the data logging though.
I use hyper terminal at work and download files as '.csv' to read in 'Excell' all ready and it looks similar.
Thanks again, cheers
