tuning ?'s and issues

Post by slo895.0 »

I just recently purchased MSII v3.0. it is going into a 89 mustang with a N/A 347 w/ 42lb injectors.
I have done a lot of reading but still have some uncertainties with my tune. also when i Generated my Fuel VE table from 600-2300 RPM are all the same value (32) from 20-100 kPa. why did that happen? i have yet to test this tune on my car yet. if somebody has some free time i would like them to take a quick peak at my MSQ and critique me on what ever they see that appears to be odd or wrong (im new to this and dont mind being told i did something wrong) i would like to have this done before trying this out on my car, but how do i post up my MSQ? i have tried to copy and paste it from my desktop, but that doesnt work. Thanks

Did you say that you have the ms in the car? If you haven't installed it yet, I would recommend that you start there, then work on your tune once you have the engine started, otherwise it is mostly theory, and you may end up more confused than you have to be if you start tuning an invisible engine. I found that it is easier to start with very basic settings and fine tune as you go. Otherwise you will end up with it running strange and no idea which setting is causing it.

To post an MSQ, use upload attachment at the bottom of the post page then browse to your msq.
