EDIS boots

Post by jagdude »

Hi,
Anyone have a reliable source for the spark-plug wire boots for the EDIS coilpack? I found Boost Engineering but there were a few comments about the length of time for them to respond. Anyone had any experience with them??

Thanks,

Jim

You mean for the coil pack end?

If so, I wasn't able to find anyone who sold them. Most people pull the boots off a set of JY wires and crimp/make their own plug wires.

MSD makes a set of coil tower convertor things for there edis wire kits. This adapts the weird clip on coil hole into a normal mail tower that accepts a female plug wire. I used a slighlty different set for v8 distributor and got them to work, but they are slightly different dimensionally from the the true convertors.
