megasquirt mascot + megasquirt info flyer.

Post by 357supermagnum »

I think someone should make a cuddly megasquirt mascot, perhaps a squid will do fine ?
A squid to change color to suit its surroundings, and adapt it's texture to mimic corrals.
A squid uses jet propulsion.
it should be available at the web shops that sells megasquirt kits or finished boxes.

I have also noticed that there is no information flyer to hand out at car meetings..

Hmm. I like the idea of a mascot. How about an octopus instead of a squid? They're pretty much the same thing and just seem... friendlier? If that makes any sense. I have a picture in my mind of an octopus sitting on top of a V8 with an injector in each of it's arms.

Yeah, but a "squid" might help to telegraph the math skills and electronics geekiness (is that a word?) that I regularly see here on the forums. And don't get me wrong, I'm impressed and jealous of the math skills and electronics geekiness some of you have.

I know there was a thread where somebody had an octopus-like mascot drawn a couple years ago; they had a blue 3D CGI image and a couple others. Not sure what came of that picture though.

I'm not getting the connection between math/electronic geekiness and a "squid". Does "squid" have some sort of alternative meaning I'm not aware of?
