Yamaha R6 Cam sensor pullup?

Post by RanE5-CSU »

Hi guys,

I am completing the build on my MS2 from DIYAutoTune.com. I just have one final resistor to do: the pullup resistor for the hall effect sensor on the VR2 input.

Should I do a 1k resistor? Should it be on the 12v position or the 5v position? I believe it is a 5v sensor, but the directions state that for a hall effect crank sensor, it should be on 12v.

Thanks!

Ryan

5 volts is fine for a 5V sensor.
