Dual Injectors on a turbo motor setup

Post by xx_ED_xx »

I got a project that runs on a ms-II pcb 3.57. anyhow I was curious since there is 2 wires that you run to the injectors. Could I run 1 set on one then run another set on the other. Am I able to tune each bank differently? Main reason I am asking is trying to get a big set of injectors to idle usually makes it not run as well. I have seen some people run 2 sets so they can run a smaller set for idle and then when the get into boost the second set kicks in for the additonal fuel needed.

Some info about the project.

Hi, Ed.

What you are describing is 'Staged Injection'; as you say, you have one set of small injectors for low end tuneability, plus another set (often larger) for full WOT power. This is indeed supported in MS-II/Extra, but not in the standard MS-II code.

Standard MS2 code can get similar results if run in Dual Table mode. This gives you a separate VE table for each bank.

I assume you would use 'additive' mode, with 'zeros' in the secondary map below your trigger point?
