ms2 on supercharged 406 sbc

Post by prostreeted49 »

how are all you guys doin? im new to mega squirt been reading about the ms 2 for about 6 hours, and i still have unresolved questions. my set up is a mpfi system that consists of 60lbs siemans injectors, edelbrock victor e efi manifold, a throttle body elbow with a ported LS1 thottle body. my ignition system is MSD 6AL-2 with a 85551 distributor (just a pickup in the dizzy) i plan to run the mega squirt 2 but i dont want to allow the mega squirt to control the ingnition. do i just hook the tach output to the relay bord like the MS1? also are the any mods that i have to complete inorder to use a stepper motor style IAC?

Sure, that setup will work fine with MS2 as well as MS1.

You'll need to have the stepper IAC jumpers from assembly step 22 in place. Most preassembled MS2s have these by default.

You got it. And yes, you'll need to add the jumpers when upgrading.
