RV8 with EDIS and MS II V3 latest code.
I'm having cold start issues - or rather it fires when cranking but then stops. After a couple of goes it then runs. I suspect the mixture is a bit weak while warming up - but the trouble is altering something can't then be proved until it cools down again.
At the moment it's set to approx 148% enrichment at 0C - is that in the ballpark? Or what sort of A/F ratio should I be seeing from the WB sensor?
All at idle - it drives off fine.

You probably need to adjust your after start enrichment a bit, too. My engine also likes a bit of cold advance to help get things going after cranking.

mv 3.5 rover v8 uses ms1extra with warmup at160% and ASE of 60% for 16secs at 0C and seems ok.Dont know if ms2 is much different hope to have been helpful,Steve.

I've used the 160% at 0C and smoothed out the rest. When it did start, it idled fine without touching the throttle. It does take some churning before it fires, though. Any tips there?

Either too much or more probably too little cranking pulsewidth.I use 11.8 at -4C and 10.6 at 7C which seems ok,fires in 1-2secs.I find the rover motor is very accepting of poor fuelling when running but is very easy to flood when starting.With these settings if it does not start in 3-4 secs I have to use flood clear which always has worked.Steve..

Ah. Mine is set to 11 at -40C and 3 at 71C.
